Hide 7.DISCONNECT RADIATOR RESERVOIR TANK HOSE

Disconnect the radiator reservoir tank hose from the radiator assembly.


Hide 16573B 8.DISCONNECT NO. 3 RADIATOR HOSE

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 3 radiator hose.


Hide 16572D 9.DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose.

Hide 16533 11.REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 upper radiator supports.


b.

Remove the radiator support cushion from each upper radiator support.


Hide 53205 12.REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the 2 horn connectors.

Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly.


Hide 16261N 13.DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

Disengage the 3 clamps.


b.

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

Remove the 2 bolts.


b.

Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the No. 2 fan shroud from the radiator assembly.


Hide 16400 15.REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connector.

Disengage the wire harness clamp.

Disengage the 2 guides to disconnect the condenser assembly from the fan shroud assembly.

NOTICE:

Make sure not to damage the condenser assembly or radiator assembly when removing the condenser assembly.



d.

Remove the radiator assembly with the fan shroud assembly from the 2 lower radiator supports.

NOTICE:

Do not apply excessive force to the condenser assembly or pipe when removing the radiator assembly.



e.

Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the vehicle body.


f.

Remove the 2 bolts and fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.

NOTICE:

Make sure not to damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.



Hide 16400B 16.REMOVE RADIATOR DRAIN COCK PLUG

a.

Remove the radiator drain cock plug.


b.

Remove the O-ring from the radiator drain cock plug.
