Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the oil cooler tube sub-assembly from the 2 oil cooler tube unions.

Remove the bolt and oil cooler tube sub-assembly from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

Remove the transmission oil level gauge sub-assembly from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

Using a screwdriver, remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the transmission oil filler tube sub-assembly.


HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

Disconnect the park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

Disconnect the wire harness clamp from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.
