Hide 31453A 3.REMOVE CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS WITH HOLE PIN

Remove the clip from the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin.


b.

Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis with hole pin and disconnect the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.

Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and clutch pedal support sub-assembly from the vehicle body.

Remove the clutch pedal stopper bolt from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

Remove the clutch pedal spring from the clutch pedal sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.


Hide 31301R 8.REMOVE TURN OVER SPRING SEAT COMPRESSION SPRING (for 2ZR-FE)

a.

Secure the clutch pedal sub-assembly in a vise between aluminum plates.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the clutch pedal sub-assembly in the vise.

While the clutch pedal sub-assembly is fully depressed, remove the turn over spring seat compression spring from the clutch pedal sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

Remove the 2 turn over bushings from the clutch pedal sub-assembly and clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

Remove the bolt and nut.

Remove the clutch pedal sub-assembly from the clutch pedal support sub-assembly.

Using an 8 mm hexagon socket wrench and a hammer, remove the clutch master cylinder push rod clevis bushing from the clutch pedal sub-assembly.
