LIGHTING (INT) LIGHTING SYSTEM Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of each door unlock detection switch.

PROCEDURE
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the front door lock assembly LH.
Click hereVehicle Interior>DOOR LOCK>FRONT DOOR LOCK>REMOVAL
Inspect the front door lock assembly LH.
Click hereVehicle Interior>DOOR LOCK>FRONT DOOR LOCK>INSPECTION

Disconnect the E31 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H8-8 (LSSR) - E31-7 (LSFL) Always Below 1 Ω H8-8 (LSSR) or E31-7 (LSFL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher H8-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

Proceed to OK NG

Remove the front door lock assembly RH.

Inspect the front door lock assembly RH.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition G7-7 (LSSR) - E31-18 (LSFR) Always Below 1 Ω G7-7 (LSSR) or E31-18 (LSFR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher G7-8 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

Inspect the rear door lock assembly LH.
