DESCRIPTION
The ECM communicates with the generator assembly via LIN communication. If a LIN communication error is detected, the ECM stores this DTC.

If the ECM is replaced, register the ECU communication ID for Immobiliser System (Refer to the Service Bulletin for Registration).
·Make sure to perform Reset Memory (CVT initialization), deceleration sensor zero point calibration and CVT oil pressure calibration when replacing the ECM or the oil pressure sensor (for CVT Models).

Disconnect the B64 ECM connector.
Disconnect the B61 generator assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition B64-61 (LIN) - B61-2 (LIN) Always Below 1 Ω B64-61 (LIN) or B61-2 (LIN) - body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- Result:
