DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the front fog lights.

1.CHECK OPERATION (TAILLIGHTS)
a.

Check the operation of the taillights.

OK:

Taillights operate normally.

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


c.

Turn the GTS on.


d.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.


e.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the FR FOG RLY relay from the No. 4 relay block assembly.


b.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

5 (FR FOG RLY relay terminal) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

Disconnect the A19 fog light assembly LH connector.


b.

Disconnect the A16 fog light assembly RH connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
3 (FR FOG RLY relay terminal) - A19-2 Always Below 1 Ω
3 (FR FOG RLY relay terminal) - A16-2 Always Below 1 Ω
3 (FR FOG RLY relay terminal) or A19-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
3 (FR FOG RLY relay terminal) or A16-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
