Hide 33820B 2.DISCONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Remove the nut to disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the transmission control shaft lever.


b.

Remove the clip to disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.


Hide 84540 3.REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

Remove the nut, washer and transmission control shaft lever from the manual valve lever shaft.

Using a screwdriver, pry back the tabs of the lock plate.

Remove the lock nut and lock plate from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and park/neutral position switch assembly from the automatic transaxle assembly.
