LIGHTING (INT) LIGHTING SYSTEM Rear Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the rear door courtesy light switch assembly.
WIRING DIAGRAM
PROCEDURE
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the rear door courtesy light switch assembly RH.

Inspect the rear door courtesy light switch assembly RH.
Click hereVehicle Interior>LIGHTING (INT)>REAR DOOR COURTESY SWITCH>INSPECTION
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG

Disconnect the E31 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L37-1 - E31-6 (RCTY) Always Below 1 Ω L37-1 or E31-6 (RCTY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG
