LIGHTING (INT) LIGHTING SYSTEM Front Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the front door courtesy light switch assembly.
WIRING DIAGRAM
PROCEDURE
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the front door courtesy light switch assembly RH.

Inspect the front door courtesy light switch assembly RH.

Disconnect the E31 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L36-1 - E31-19 (FRCY) Always Below 1 Ω L36-1 or E31-19 (FRCY) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG

Remove the front door courtesy light switch assembly LH.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L1-1 - 3E-37 Always Below 1 Ω L1-1 or 3E-37 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.
Click herePower Source / Network>POWER DISTRIBUTION>MAIN BODY ECU>REMOVAL
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
