LIGHTING (INT) LIGHTING SYSTEM Luggage Compartment Door Courtesy Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the luggage compartment door courtesy switch built into the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

PROCEDURE
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

Disconnect the L23 No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly connector.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L23-1 (DB) - Body ground Battery saving function not operating 11 to 14 V

Remove the No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly.

Inspect the No. 1 luggage compartment light assembly.

Disconnect the L29 luggage compartment door lock assembly connector.
Disconnect the 3E instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L23-2 (DL) - 3E-34 Always Below 1 Ω L23-2 (DL) or 3E-34 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition L29-3 (D+) - L23-2 (DL) Always Below 1 Ω L29-3 (D+) or L23-2 (DL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher L29-2 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

Remove the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
