*1 Manual Transmission Filler Plug
*2 Drain Plug Sub-assembly


Remove the manual transmission filler plug and gasket.


b.

Remove the drain plug sub-assembly and gasket to drain the manual transaxle oil.


c.

Install a new gasket and the drain plug sub-assembly.

Torque:
39.2 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)


Hide 3.ADD MANUAL TRANSAXLE OIL

*a 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.)


Add manual transaxle oil until the oil level is between 0 to 5 mm (0 to 0.197 in.) from the bottom lip of the manual transmission filler plug opening.

Oil Grade:

API GL-4


Oil Viscosity:

SAE 75W-90


Standard Capacity:

1.9 liters (2.0 US qts, 1.7 Imp. qts)



b.

Install a new gasket and the manual transmission filler plug.

Torque:
39.2 N*m (400 kgf*cm, 29 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:
·

When adding manual transaxle oil, make sure that the vehicle is level.

·

An excessively large or small amount of manual transaxle oil may cause problems.

·

After adding manual transaxle oil, drive the vehicle and recheck the oil level.
