DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

1.CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
a.

Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (ABS WARNING LIGHT)

a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


c.

Select the Active Test on the GTS.

Check the operating condition of the ABS warning light when operating it using the GTS.

Perform an Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the GTS.
