THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM(for Start Function) DTC CHECK / CLEAR

When using the GTS with the engine switch off, connect the GTS to the DLC3 and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the GTS and the vehicle begins. Then select Model Code "KEY REGIST" under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start(CAN). While using the GTS, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the GTS and the vehicle.
CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE CONTROL))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / Trouble Codes.
- Body Electrical > Power Source Control > Trouble Codes
- 50001 223
Check for DTCs.
CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (STARTING CONTROL))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Starting Control / Trouble Codes.
- Body Electrical > Starting Control > Trouble Codes
- 50001 221
Check for DTCs.
CHECK FOR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (SMART KEY))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.
- Body Electrical > Entry&Start > Trouble Codes
- 50001 125
Check for DTCs.
CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (POWER SOURCE CONTROL))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Power Source Control / Trouble Codes.
- Body Electrical > Power Source Control > Clear DTCs
- 50002 223
Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the GTS display.
CLEAR DTC (CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) (STARTING CONTROL))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Starting Control / Trouble Codes.
- Body Electrical > Starting Control > Clear DTCs
- 50002 221
Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the GTS display.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Trouble Codes.

Clear the DTCs by following the directions on the GTS display.
