LIGHTING (EXT)  LIGHTING SYSTEM  DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM  


DESCRIPTION


Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.


CHECK DLC3


Check the DLC3.

INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE


Measure the battery voltage.

Standard Voltage:

11 to 14 V


If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.


DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

for Multi-information Display (Segment LCD Type):

i.

If a malfunction occurs in the lighting system, the LED headlight warning light will illuminate.

HINT:

In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) will store DTCs.

for Multi-information Display (Color Type):

If a malfunction occurs in the lighting system, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display.

In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) will store DTCs.
