HINT:

If the following conditions are detected while the cruise control system is controlling vehicle speed, the system clears the vehicle speed stored in the ECM and cancels cruise control system control of vehicle speed.

Cruise control system is turned off and back on again using the cruise control main switch (ON-OFF button).

Ignition switch is turned off and back to ON again.
Cruise control indicator remains illuminated in green (Cruise control system control of vehicle speed is canceled)

Vehicle speed is lower than low speed limit (approximately 40 km/h (25 mph)) while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed

·

VSC system operates while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed

·

TRC system operates for a certain period of time while driving with cruise control system controlling vehicle speed

·

VSC is turned off

·

TRC is turned off


Cruise control main switch is pushed to +/RES
Vehicle speed is lower than stored speed by approximately 16 km/h (10 mph) or more Cruise control main switch is pushed to -/SET
Cruise control indicator goes out Problem with throttle position sensor or motor Cruise control system is turned off and back on again using the cruise control main switch (ON-OFF button).
