PROCEDURE

Hide 11212 1.REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>2ZR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL>ENGINE ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL

Hide 11101W 2.REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

a.

for Exhaust Side:

i.
A205040

Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.


ii.

Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.




b.

for Intake Side:

i.
A282701

Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.


ii.

Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

NOTICE:

If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
