PROCEDURE

Hide 11212 2.REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER

Hide 17705 3.REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

a.

Disconnect the mass air flow meter sub-assembly connector and disengage the 2 wire harness clamps.


b.

Disengage the 2 air cleaner cap clamps.


c.

Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.


d.

Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap with air cleaner hose from the throttle body assembly.

*2 No. 2 Water By-pass Hose


Disconnect the throttle body assembly connector.


b.

Slide the 2 clips and disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose from the throttle body assembly.


c.

w/ Stud Bolt:

i.

Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.

NOTICE:

If the throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.




d.

w/o Stud Bolt:

i.
A288483

Remove the 4 bolts and throttle body assembly from the intake manifold.

NOTICE:

If the throttle body assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.
