WIPER / WASHER WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM Wiper ECU Power Source Circuit
DESCRIPTION
This circuit provides power to the windshield wiper relay assembly.

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.
PROCEDURE
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - IG CIRCUIT AND BODY GROUND)
a.
Disconnect the E95 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.
b.
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E95-2 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Ignition switch off Below 1 V E95-16 (WIG) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Ignition switch off Below 1 V
c.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E95-12 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG

a.
Disconnect the 3C instrument panel junction block assembly connector.
b.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E95-2 (IG) - 3C-2 Always Below 1 Ω E95-2 (IG) or 3C-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher E95-16 (WIG) - 3C-17 Always Below 1 Ω E95-16 (WIG) or 3C-17 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
- Result:
Proceed to OK NG
